April 2010 Meeting

The April meeting will be at Aquatic Marine reef store on Saturday, April 17, from 12 to 4pm.  This is a great meeting to attend for those who were thinking of joining the club.  Aquatic Marine is located on 2339 W. Beaver Creek Dr. in the DeRoyal Industrial Complex in Powell (on the North side of Knoxville).  Follow this link to the RC discussion forum for more details.

Meeting Minutes April 17, 2010

The April 2010 meeting was graciously hosted and refreshments provided by Aquatic Marine.

Members in attendance were:

Eddie, Dave and Barbara, Scott, Jeff, David, Janie, Dana, Matt J., Travis, Paul, James M., Burton and Jenna, Michelle and Keith, Brent and Melissa, Seth, Spenser, and James K.

We opened the meeting with a unique round of introductions where each person drew varying lengths of string. Then they introduced themselves while wrapping the string around their finger and had to talk as long as the string lasted. We had a lot of laughs while learning a little about each other. That wasn’t so hard was it Trent!

2010 FRAG SWAP!!!

March 2010 Meeting

The March meeting will be at Dana’s (digidana) house east of Knoxville on Saturday, the 20th, at 3pm. We are planning some kind of frag exchange, so bring a frag if you have one to share and want to be included!

I believe there is also an open invite for those who come to hang around for the “Mountain Jam” gathering of guitar players at 7pm afterwards.  Info about Mountain Jam http://www.meetup.com/Mountain-Jam/

ETRC gets a new website!!!

Welcome to ETRC’s new website.  The new layout allows for many new features.  Here’s a little explanation about the new website.  At the top of the site, you will see all of the links to the pages.  In the middle of the site, you will find all of the recent news feeds.  The left of that is your category section.  Simple right?

Pages: On the top of the website, you will see the different pages of ETRC.  Here you can find information about Joining, Members, LFS, and Sponsors.

News: In the middle of the site, you will see a list of new articles posted.  These can range from Meeting information, Member’s tank of the month, DIY articles, and other stuff.

Categories: On the left side of the screen, there are a list of categories.  You may click each on of the categories to see the specific posts under each one.

Archives: Instead of using the categories or searching, you can also find any article you want by date.  Just look up the month and year.

So the website is easy right?  The main advantage of this new website is to allow more frequent updates.  So be sure to keep a look out and visit us soon!
