Our forums on the two web boards are Reef2Reef and Reef Central. You can click on these links or the ones in the upper-right corner to go to them.

The January 2012 meeting was held at Mel’s (EvilMel) house in Knoxville. There was a great turnout for this meeting. Good food was had by all and many thanks to Mel for her efforts in that area.
Topics of discussion were the upcoming Frag Swap this summer — and cyano caused by old lights.

September meeting will be at Janie’s on SUNDAY Sept. 18 form 2 to 5PM or so. See the private forum at Reef2Reef for directions. Please PM or call one of the board members or Janie if you do not have access to the private forum.
Discussion will likely center on the new board elections and the plans for the upcoming year.
Janie will be making a Low Country Boil. You all can bring appetizers, deserts, or beverages.
We hope to see you all then, current members or anyone looking to join the club!

Topic: mostly just socializing. A little bit of business, and a visit and tour of the new Aquatic Marine.

After lunch at Chilli’s we will go to the new Aquatic Marine.
Aquatic Marine is the LFS in town that supports our reef club. They have just moved.

The July monthly meeting was held at Scott’s (Runner) house on July 23. This was the first meeting since May because the Frag Swap took up the meeting time in June. We had a small gathering of a dozen+ people that included a few new faces — a couple we had met at the swap. We grilled burgers, had a good long discussion, and Scott displayed and briefly discussed his LED lighting fixture.
